Carrie Dunn is a 45 year veteran in serving persons with disabilities. Working through the State of Florida she spent 5 years serving families and 35 years in Vocational Rehabilitation, retiring as Operations Management Consultant. She currently provides executive support at Brightest Employment Services. She is a champion of all clients, looking into and through every possibility, procuring employment that is satisfying to the client and productive to an employer.
Carrie was born in South Carolina, but soon found her home in St Petersburg, FL. She successfully went through the Pinellas County School System and St Petersburg Junior College. She then went on to attend the University of South Florida.
Carrie is the proud mother of 2 children & 7 grandsons! She is the granddaughter of Louise Graham, whose legacy lives on in the work being done at the Louise Graham Regeneration Center on behalf of persons with disabilities. Although Carrie is proud of the legacy in her grandmother’s name and work, she is most proud of the legacy of love, compassion, respect and passion that flowed from her grandmother’s life. Love for family and the people she serves makes Carrie, Carrie! This is who she is and this makes her contributions to Brightest Employment Services of the highest quality and benefit to all!
Carrie enjoys Syfy movies and mystery books. But she takes her real inspiration from the Bible.
This is her favorite verse: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths”. Proverbs 3:5 & 6
